Online Boardroom (Director Election)

Boardroom will take place via Skype on Tuesday (4/16) at 10pm. Further details will be sent out on the specifics of how to get on that chat via Director Ryan Houser. Remember, you must have sent the FARH advisor, E.J., your $30 affiliation fee to have voting rights and have filled out the affiliation form on the website.

A message from Ryan Houser, director:

Hey FARH!

Attached are the speeches and pro-speeched for myself and Branden Siegle. Please read them thoroughly, along with the bids. On Tuesday at 10pm, you will message me (rbhouser90) on Skype and I will add you to the group chat. At that point, Justin will chair boardroom and we will go straight into question and answer. Please have questions ready to go ahead of time as we will be keeping to the time limits as defined in the Policy Book (you may extend or exhaust the speaker's list however). When Q&A is over, you may motion to go into discussion, however, you are not required to do so. Branden and I will sign off if you go into discussion. If not, you will go straight into a vote. You will side chat E.J. with your vote of Ryan, Branden, or No Confidence. E.J. will announce the winner, and the chat will be over at that point.

If you have any questions, please let me know. I am hoping this will last no longer than 30-45 minutes. See you on Tuesday! Remember that you must have paid your affiliation dues to vote!

Mission Statement

The Florida Association of Residence Halls; herein referred to as FARH has been established for the purpose of coordinating state residence hall association activities and representing and serving the collective interests of all residents as decided upon by member institutions. FARH will further serve as the liaison between housing operations, housing related conferences, residence halls, various universities, and outside interests.
